Job summary

Go Lean Health is seeking a Medical Virtual Assistant (MVA) to support a busy chiropractic clinic remotely. The role requires sharp, proactive individuals who can own clinic workflows with minimal supervision and think ahead to improve operations.

Ideal candidates have excellent English, strong executive presence, high accountability, and can build trust with the provider and care team. This is a 30-hour-per-week remote position with $5–$6 per hour and a performance-based raise after 6 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as Medical Virtual Assistant
• Experience supporting a US healthcare practice
• Experience with insurance verification, EOBs, claims or billing support
• Exposure to CPT and ICD-10 codes
• Strong English communication skills
• Mac OS user
• Leadership or ownership experience

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance after check-in and document accurately.
• Review denied claims and assist with reprocessing.
• Process EOB documents and clear backlogs.
• Resolve outstanding patient balances and coordinate next steps.
• Support claims workflows including Cigna and VA.
• Coordinate vendor payments and ensure timely tasks.
• Monitor SOAP notes for completion and accuracy.
• Track missed/canceled appointments and trends.
• Prepare reports on balances, appointments, denials, and metrics.
• Coordinate team communication and ensure priorities are followed.
