Job summary

You will handle insurance verification, denial management, EOB processing, patient balances, and claims processing, while coordinating payments and monitoring SOAP notes. Remote work is allowed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Medical Virtual Assistant
• Experience supporting a US healthcare practice
• Exposure to CPT and ICD-10 codes
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong executive presence and professional communication style
• Must be a Mac OS user
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proven leadership, ownership, or high-accountability experience

Responsibilities

• Insurance verification after patient check-in and documentation
• Denied claims management and reprocessing support
• EOB processing and backlog clearing
• Patient balance review and resolution coordination
• Claims processing and escalation for key payers
• Payment coordination including check payments
• SOAP note monitoring and compliance tracking
• Appointment tracking and trend analysis
• Reports on outstanding balances and operational metrics with insights
• Team coordination between provider, care team, and staff
• Operational support to identify and fix workflow gaps and billing issues
