School Of Virtual Assistance (SOVA) is urgently seeking a professional Medical Virtual Assistant to join our international healthcare team. The role requires experience as Medical VA or similar, excellent English, and the ability to handle sensitive information.

Remote/work-from-home setup with immediate start preferred. You will manage patient scheduling, communications, documentation, and coordinate with doctors and insurers while maintaining HIPAA and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as Medical Virtual Assistant, Medical Assistant, Healthcare VA or similar role is required.
• Experience with international or US-based healthcare providers is highly preferred.
• Excellent spoken and written English; professional communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient appointments and scheduling.
• Handle calls, emails, and patient inquiries professionally.
• Assist with medical documentation and administrative tasks.
• Update and maintain patient records.
• Coordinate with doctors, clinics, insurance providers and healthcare staff.
• Assist with referrals, follow-ups and authorizations.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
• Provide professional support to healthcare providers.
• Follow HIPAA and privacy/confidentiality requirements.
