OpsArmy is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Authorization Triage Specialist for a remote role based in the Philippines. The position focuses on reviewing HIPAA authorizations, verifying patient and case details, and preparing documentation before records retrieval processes continue.

The ideal candidate will be highly accurate, comfortable with legal and medical documents, and able to identify inconsistencies that could delay processing. Remote work with flexible teams is offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent written English with strong attention to detail.
• Strong ability to read and understand legal and medical documents.
• High level of accuracy when reviewing and comparing information.

Responsabilités

• Review HIPAA Authorizations: verify signatures, patient info, dates of birth and service; review POA/guardianship as applicable.
• Cross-check case details against internal records for discrepancies.
• Prepare documents by transferring information into authorization templates using PDF editors.
• Perform quality checks on files for accuracy, completeness, and formatting.
• Identify and resolve defects; flag missing or invalid information and place cases on hold when needed.
• Follow up and escalate pending cases with clear, specific information.
• Maintain accurate records of decisions, updates and case status.
