SourceU in the Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented Law Bookkeeper to manage legal billing, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting for an Australian team on a fully remote basis.

You will use Xero and LEAP to maintain accurate records, monitor payments, and prepare weekly and monthly reports. The role requires strong attention to detail, independence, and reliable communication with management.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Xero experience and a sound understanding of bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and time management.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively.
• Preferred: Experience with LEAP or other legal practice management software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare client and insurer invoices and allocate payments in LEAP.
• Maintain financial records in Xero and perform bank reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments; maintain debtor reports.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on fees, payments, outstanding balances, and revenue forecasts.
• Coordinate monthly accounts meetings and prepare financial summaries for management.
