Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper based in the Philippines to manage day-to-day finance with a weekly payroll core. This remote, independent contractor role aligns with AU business hours while offering flexibility in how you manage your time.

You will handle BAS/IAS, PAYG withholding, AP/AR, and cash flow reporting in Xero, ensuring compliance for Australian operations. Strong English and self-direction are essential for success in this setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with Australian businesses.
• Advanced Xero skills across payroll, reconciliations, AP and AR.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll, Modern Awards, superannuation and tax compliance.
• Confident Excel skills for reporting and cash flow work.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry.
• Clear, professional written and spoken English.
• A self-directed approach, with the ability to manage your workload independently.

Responsabilités

• Process weekly payroll accurately and on time for site and office teams.
• Review and process timesheets from ClockShark, our geolocation clock-in/clock-out system.
• Interpret and apply Modern Awards, working alongside our People & Culture advisor.
• Manage leave, superannuation and paid parental leave, including government payments.
• Respond promptly and clearly to team members' pay questions.
