Job summary

MicroSourcing in the Philippines is seeking a Medical Coder - Inpatient DRG (IPDRG) to analyze inpatient documentation, assign MS-DRG/APR DRG, and determine POA/SOI/ROM indicators for accurate reimbursement. The role is remote, daytime shifts, with competitive rewards and benefits.

You will use EMR systems to support coding, maintain HIPAA compliance, and collaborate with HIM and PFS teams. Strong English skills (CEFR B2) are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Inpatient DRG Coding experience.
• CCS/CIC/CDIP credentials or active equivalent.
• Proficient with EMR systems and coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient documentation to assign ICD codes, MS-DRG, APR DRG.
• Identify POA, SOI & ROM indicators for reimbursement.
• Ensure coding accuracy to minimize denials.
