Job summary

Cardinal Education is seeking an HR Employee Relations Lead to own the full spectrum of HR and Employee Relations across the organization. You will ensure compliant, positive employee experiences while partnering with managers and leadership to strengthen accountability and people processes.

The role focuses on investigations, performance management, onboarding/offboarding, payroll coordination, and HR operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• 5+ years HR generalist/employee relations experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, performance management, and labor laws.
• Experience handling investigations and payroll coordination.
• Ability to independently own HR processes and ensure execution.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting US-based employees is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Employee Relations: Manage employee concerns, investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.
• Policies and Compliance: Develop and maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws.
• Performance Management: Oversee performance reviews, probationary assessments, and performance improvement plans.
• Employee Lifecycle: Manage onboarding, offboarding, documentation, and transitions.
• HR Operations and Payroll: Oversee HR administration, records, timekeeping, attendance, and payroll coordination.
• Employee Engagement: Lead engagement initiatives and programs that support well-being and retention.
• HR Systems and Process Improvement: Maintain HR systems, data accuracy, and improve workflows.
• Manager and Leadership Support: Provide guidance on people management and policy interpretation.
• HR Reporting: Monitor metrics and identify risks and improvements.
