Job summary

Solvo Global in Manila, Philippines, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced international e-commerce team. You will manage month-end close, reconcile Shopify transactions, and provide financial insights.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting, strong Excel skills, and hands-on Shopify experience to support automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
• E-Commerce accounting experience is required.
• Hands-on Shopify experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including large financial datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Reconcile high-volume transactions from Shopify and E-Commerce platforms.
• Analyze large financial datasets and identify variances, trends, and discrepancies.
• Investigate accounting issues and identify root causes.
• Prepare financial reports and provide actionable insights.
• Support process improvement and accounting automation initiatives.
