Job summary

Pavago is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and governance for a remote-capable team serving US business hours. This hands-on leadership role requires strong GAAP or IFRS expertise, a track record of building scalable processes, and the ability to drive month-end close and audit readiness.

You will manage budgeting, treasury, internal controls, and external audits while developing the finance team and improving systems such as ERP implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• 2+ years of accounting leadership experience.
• Strong GAAP and IFRS knowledge and internal controls.
• ERP experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare GAAP/IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Maintain internal controls and support audits.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and treasury activities.
• Develop scalable accounting processes and drive ERP projects.
