Job summary

Pavago is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join a U.S.-based accounting and advisory firm, providing high-ownership, client-facing work across multiple U.S.-based clients in a fully remote LATAM setup.

You will own month-end close, U.S. GAAP reporting, payroll, tax compliance, budgeting and forecasting support, and process improvements—delivering clear financial insights to business owners and ensuring accuracy across engagements.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of accounting and finance experience.
• Strong experience supporting multiple U.S.-based clients simultaneously.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Full-cycle accounting experience.
• Proven experience with month-end close, financial reporting, AP/AR, reconciliations, payroll and U.S. sales tax.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close processes across multiple U.S.-based client accounts.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting workpapers.
• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Process payroll and manage onboarding within payroll systems.
• Provide budgeting, forecasting support and financial analysis.
• Improve accounting workflows and internal controls.
• Communicate with business owners and clients clearly and proactively.
