Job summary

Del Playa Group is seeking a remote Controller to design, optimize, and manage accounting and FP&A for a U.S.-based real estate portfolio, reporting to the CEO and partnering with leadership to deliver timely financial analysis and decisions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of bookkeeping and controllership, multi-entity real estate accounting, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online and BuilderTrend, with experience migrating to Sage Intacct.

Qualifications

• Experience with multi-entity accounting and real estate accounting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Ability to design and optimize accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and monthly close.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Support ERP migration from QuickBooks Online to Sage Intacct.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
