Job summary

Pavago is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close in a remote role. You will maintain accurate records, ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance, and provide timely financial insights for leadership.

Collaborating with Finance, FP&A, Payroll, and Operations, you’ll strengthen internal controls, support audits, and drive process improvements across ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 4–5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and month-end close.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and financial reporting.
• Excellent Excel/Sheets skills and strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Prepare trial balances, financial statements, and schedules.
• Support audits and ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance.
• Improve accounting processes and automate where possible.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
