Job summary

With Coverage is seeking a Lead Risk Advisor Assistant to support Risk Advisors in managing commercial insurance accounts remotely. You will oversee daily operations, ensuring high-quality client servicing and adherence to underwriting workflows.

The role requires hands-on experience with US commercial lines, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with carriers and underwriters. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing U.S. commercial insurance accounts.
• Experience with renewals, COIs, and endorsements.
• Ability to coordinate with carriers and underwriters.
• Strong knowledge of GL, Property, WC, Auto, and Umbrella.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operational and account servicing support for one or more Risk Advisors, ensuring seamless management of commercial insurance accounts.
• Prepare, review, and process commercial submissions, quotations, proposals, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.
• Coordinate directly with insurance carriers and underwriters on new business, renewals, policy revisions, subjectivities, and outstanding requirements.
• Support placement and servicing of commercial policies including GL, Property, WC, Auto, Umbrella.
• Prepare and issue COIs, endorsements, and evidence of coverage documents.
• Review policies for accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
• Gather, organize, and validate client information for submissions, renewals, and carrier requests.
• Maintain records across AMS/CRM systems and carrier portals.
• Manage billing-related items with clients and carriers; escalate discrepancies.
• Track renewal timelines and outstanding carrier requirements.
• Draft professional communications to clients, carriers, and underwriters.
• Conduct quality reviews of junior staff work.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and documentation.
