Job summary

Frontier, a remote-first firm, seeks an Underwriting Specialist (Commercial) to support Risk Advisors. The role centers on handling day-to-day insurance operations for commercial lines, coordinating with carriers and underwriters, and ensuring accurate policy documentation.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with US commercial insurance, familiarity with AMS/EP systems, and the ability to guide junior staff. Location is remote with Manila/Philippines and India options.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience servicing U.S. commercial insurance accounts.
• Proven experience working with insurance carriers and underwriters on commercial lines.
• Experience coordinating with underwriters on manually underwritten policies and renewals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as operational and account servicing support for Risk Advisors, managing commercial accounts.
• Prepare, review, and process submissions, quotations, proposals, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.
• Coordinate with carriers/on underwriting on new business, renewals, and policy revisions.
• Prepare COIs, endorsements, and evidence of coverage documents.
• Review policies for accuracy and ensure coverage terms meet client requirements.
• Maintain records across AMS/CRM systems and carrier portals.
• Track billing items and renewal timelines.
