Job summary

Emapta Global Philippines is seeking a Collections Specialist to manage high-value consumer accounts, negotiate repayment arrangements, and deliver positive customer experiences in a fast-paced financial environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of B2C or consumer collections experience.
• Must currently be in, or have most recently held, a collections role, with no more than a three‑month employment gap.
• Proven experience negotiating payment arrangements, resolving delinquent accounts, and meeting collections targets.
• Strong background in consumer lending, debt collection, loan servicing, or personal finance.
• Excellent English communication skills with professional phone, email, chat, and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers via phone or email to resolve past-due accounts and secure payments.
• Determine reasons for delinquency and negotiate payment plans or full settlements.
• Update customer accounts accurately using CRM tools.
• Follow established guidelines to recommend appropriate collection remedies.
• Explain delinquency consequences and establish structured repayment schedules.
• Handle customer payment inquiries and resolve issues independently.
• Organize workflow and schedule follow-ups effectively.
• Maintain accurate account records for resolution tracking.
• Achieve key performance metrics while complying with company policies.
• Perform additional customer service tasks as assigned by the manager.
