Job summary

Frontline Accounting in the Philippines seeks an accounting professional to maintain client bookkeeping using cloud software, process invoices, reconcile accounts and post journals.

You will support management accounts preparation, review P&L and balance sheets for anomalies, and liaise with clients and suppliers. The role follows a UK schedule (3:30 PM–11:30 PM MNL) with permanent work-from-home arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or related field required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
• Proficiency with Xero and QuickBooks Online.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
• Team player with ability to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date client bookkeeping records using cloud accounting software.
• Process sales invoices, purchase invoices, receipts and bank transactions.
• Reconcile bank, credit card and other balance sheet accounts.
• Review AR and AP and maintain receivables/payables.
• Post journals including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, payroll journals and opening balances.
• Review P&L and balance sheets for anomalies.
• Assist with management accounts preparation and periodic reviews.
• Prepare and send bookkeeping queries to clients.
• Request missing invoices, receipts and statements and follow up.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers and banks regarding bookkeeping matters.
• Import and maintain data in Xero/QuickBooks and other cloud apps.
• Ensure transaction coding consistency across portfolios.
• Maintain organised digital client records and workflow diaries.
