Job summary

The Back Room Offshoring Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Junior Real-Time Bookkeeper to support a portfolio of UK client accounts. You will maintain accurate financial records using cloud accounting tools and deliver timely financial information with excellent client service.

You will work with Xero and QuickBooks Online, perform reconciliations, VAT returns, and month-end processes, building strong client relationships and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• 6 months–2 years’ experience in bookkeeping or finance.
• Experience using Xero and/or QuickBooks Online.
• Basic understanding of VAT and bookkeeping.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication and proactive attitude.
• AAT studies or qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process sales and purchase invoices.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain records.
• Assist with VAT return preparation and submissions.
• Monitor aged debtors and creditors.
• Support month-end bookkeeping processes.
• Maintain digital records and documentation.
• Build relationships with clients and respond to queries.
• Work with Xero and QuickBooks Online on cloud platforms.
