Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with claims lodgement and management, including commercial and domestic claims.
• Experience handling client correspondence throughout the claims lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience using Insight or similar insurance broking platforms.
• Strong understanding of insurance policy wordings and PDS documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple claims.

Responsibilities

• Handle claims lodgement and management from initial notification to resolution.
• Liaise with Account Brokers and insurers throughout the claims lifecycle and provide updates.
• Prepare, review and maintain claims documentation and correspondence.
• Follow up insurers, assessors and other parties to ensure timely progress.
• Interpret policy wordings and support claims handling with the team.
• Maintain accurate claims records in broking systems.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain missing information and required documents.
• Provide administrative support to the broking team as needed.
• Ensure all claims activities and communications are accurate and timely.
