Job summary

Xtendops, a mid-level bookkeeping-focused firm, seeks a dedicated professional to manage full-cycle accounting remotely from the Philippines. The role covers GL maintenance, AP/AR processing, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation, reporting to the Controller/Fractional CFO Team.

You will ensure accuracy, maintain compliance with GAAP and internal controls, and collaborate with CPAs on tax filings. Prior remote experience and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience in full-cycle roles.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the general ledger with day-to-day transactions (AP, AR, payroll entries, journal entries).
• Process accounts payable: code vendor bills, schedule payments, maintain vendor records.
• Process accounts receivable: generate client invoices, track payments, follow up on balances.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements for management review.
• Manage payroll processing and coordinate payroll tax filings with providers.
• Track and reconcile company expenses and employee reimbursements.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting requests.
