DOXA is seeking a reliable Bookkeeper in the Philippines to support a U.S.-based CPA firm’s franchise and small-business clients. The role emphasizes hands-on bookkeeping, timely, tax-ready books, and escalation to supervising accountants as needed.

You will manage recurring transactions, bank and credit-card reconciliations, and month-end close tasks, using QuickBooks Online and Excel, with strict attention to accuracy, privacy, and deadlines in a remote team environment.

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience for U.S. small businesses or an accounting services firm; cloud accounting tools experience.
Proficient with QuickBooks Online or similar cloud accounting software and Excel; familiarity with Microsoft 365 and AI tools (ChatGPT/Claude).
Ability to interpret basic P&L and balance sheet activity; experience with sales/POS imports, royalties, and tracking.”

Responsibilities

Record and categorize routine transactions in client accounting systems.
Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts; investigate variances and request missing records.
Maintain chart of accounts and reconcile franchise fees, royalties, and advertising contributions.
Prepare month-end close checklists, schedules, and books for accountant review.
Prepare preliminary P&L and balance sheets and coordinate with tax team.”
