Job summary

JOII Philippines, Inc. seeks a Production Estimator to support Australian residential projects from Clark, Pampanga. The role emphasizes accurate cost estimation for renovations, additions, and extensions, with independent work and clear client communication.

You will review drawings, prepare detailed estimates, and use Planswift, Bluebeam, and Databuild to build and manage project costs. Two years’ experience and civil engineering background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent; PRC license is an advantage but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years proven work experience as a Production Estimator or similar role.
• Knowledgeable in estimating software such as Planswift, Bluebeam, and DATABUILD and Microsoft Excel
• Proven experience in Australian residential construction estimating.
• Hands-on experience with residential renovations and additions is required.
• Experience estimating home extensions, alterations, refurbishments, and renovation projects.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Team player and willingness to help all team members succeed in daily tasks.
• Able to work under pressure and render overtime if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, engineering plans, specifications, and project documentation.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for residential renovation, addition, and extension projects.
• Prepare accurate production estimates covering materials, labour, subcontractors, and other project costs.
• Use Bluebeam to measure, mark up, and interpret construction drawings.
• Use DATABUILD to prepare, build, and manage detailed project estimates.
• Review plans and specifications to identify scope requirements, discrepancies, omissions, and potential cost risks.
• Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Prepare detailed trade-by-trade cost estimates.
• Ensure all project inclusions, exclusions, assumptions, and allowances are clearly identified.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Builders, Designers, Suppliers, and Subcontractors when clarification is required.
• Assist with pricing variations and additional works.
• Maintain accurate estimating records, supplier pricing, and cost databases.
• Ensure estimates are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
• Support the production/construction team during project handover by providing clear and accurate costing information.
• Review completed estimates for accuracy and completeness before submission.
