Job summary

Scale-X Solutions is seeking an estimator to join our Philippines-based team, supporting our Sydney estimating function during Australian business hours. The role focuses on take-offs, cost estimating, and tender preparation across demolition, civil, concrete, remediation, or general building projects.

Training will be provided by our Sydney estimators for the first 2–3 months, after which you will run quotes with oversight.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of estimating or estimating support experience in construction.
• Construction background inside a construction, civil or specialist subcontracting business.
• Ability to measure quantities from drawings and specifications.
• Proven ability to prepare quotations or tender submissions.

Responsibilities

• Take-offs and estimating: review requests, measure quantities, build cost estimates, update pricing files.
• Quotes and tenders: prepare quotations and tender responses, manage deadlines.
• Suppliers and subcontractors: obtain quotes and maintain a supplier price register.
• Communication: coordinate with Sydney estimating and operations teams daily.
• Variations, handovers and reporting: price scope changes and prepare handover docs.
