Job summary

GoTeam is seeking an AU Bookkeeper (Remote) to manage day-to-day bookkeeping for Australian client accounts from the Philippines. You will handle transactions, reconciliations, and BAS/IAS preparation within a cloud accounting stack, aligning with Melbourne hours and daylight saving changes.

The role emphasizes accuracy, process discipline, and clear communication with Client Managers. Xero, Dext, and a CPA or accounting degree support eligibility; payroll support and STP familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Australian GST, BAS, and IAS preparation experience.
• Extensive day-to-day experience with Xero.
• Accounting degree and/or Philippine CPA license.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day transactions across client accounts including payables.
• Process client bills and invoices in Dext and Xero; complete bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and reconcile supplier statements; issue batch payments.
• Prepare BAS and IAS with accuracy and lodgement readiness.
• Support payroll processing and STP compliance as needed.
• Review monthly accounts and verify correct coding and project tracking.
