Job summary

NAIS CORP is seeking an experienced Australian Bookkeeper to join a remote team serving Australian clients from the Philippines. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, BAS/IAS, payroll, and financial reporting with strong attention to detail.

The role requires at least 2 years of Australian bookkeeping experience, proficiency in Xero and MYOB, and hands-on use of Dext and Hubdoc. This is a fully remote position with exposure to BAS, IAS and payroll compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Australian bookkeeping experience.
• Strong practical experience using Xero and MYOB.
• Hands-on experience using Dext and Hubdoc.
• Experience preparing BAS and IAS.
• Strong understanding of Australian bookkeeping, GST, PAYG, payroll, and superannuation.
• Experience with STP/STP Phase 2 payroll processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple Australian client accounts.
• Maintain up-to-date financial records using Xero, MYOB and other platforms.
• Process AP and AR for clients.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations (bank, card, loans, clearing accounts).
• Prepare BAS workpapers, GST reconciliations, and supporting docs.
• Assist with BAS and IAS preparation.
• Process Australian payroll including PAYG, STP, superannuation, entitlements.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and maintain employee records.
• Support month-end and year-end reporting and financials.
• Assist with client onboarding and file maintenance.
• Use DE X T and Hubdoc to manage source docs.
