Job summary

Full Potential Solutions (FPS) seeks an Assistant Controller in the Philippines for leading accounting operations and financial reporting. The role partners with the Controller and Finance leadership to ensure accurate records and timely insights.

The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years in accounting, CPA, and strong GAAP knowledge, with ERP experience and leadership capabilities for a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA required.
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 2–4+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP (or IFRS where applicable).
• Experience with financial statement preparation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday Financials, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting operations and monthly/quarterly close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Lead internal controls, audits, and compliance activities.
• Supervise accounting staff and support performance management.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and GL activities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for strategic decisions.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve reporting.
