Job summary

Remedy Skintech Inc. in Makati, Philippines, is seeking two Finance Controllers to lead our Philippine entity with a CFO mindset from day one.

You will own end-to-end accounting, partner with operations, marketing, and cross-functional teams, and drive FP&A to support growth. The role emphasizes AI, automation, QuickBooks upgrades, internal controls, statutory compliance under PFRS, and liaising with BIR, SEC, and LGUs.

Qualifications

• 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years at Controller or Accounting Manager level.
• CPA license is an advantage.
• 3 years of people management experience, including managing through a lead or supervisory layer.
• Experience in Healthspan (B2B): distribution, commercial finance, or manufacturing, or Remedy (B2C): clinical operations, retail, or healthcare.
• Demonstrated experience managing an annual external audit as primary counterpart.
• Demonstrated experience designing or strengthening an internal control framework.
• Proven experience in QuickBooks, Philippine tax laws and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
• Experience with AP/AR and multi-entity reconciliation, cash flow and working capital management.
• Knowledge in AI utilization and workflow automation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Owns the end-to-end accounting cycle of the designated company, covering general ledger, AP/AR, cash management, and month-end and year-end close.
• Reviews and approves journal entries, reconciliations, and account schedules prior to reporting.
• Produces and certifies the entity's financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Establishes and enforces the internal control framework, including approval thresholds, segregation of duties, and authorization limits.
• Safeguards company assets through inventory, fixed asset, and cash controls.
• Owns statutory compliance and tax filings under Philippine tax laws and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), and acts as primary liaison for BIR, SEC, and LGU matters.
• Manages the annual external audit as primary counterpart and closes out audit findings and management letter points.
• Establishes policies, processes, protocols, and process documentation for the entity and the betterment of the team.
• Owns entity cash flow management, working capital, and supply chain (Healthspan) or clinic inventory (Remedy) financing.
• Reviews and approves vendor terms, procurement transactions, and disbursements within approved authority.
• Establishes the AI and automation agenda for the accounting function, covering AP/AR, reconciliations, and routine data entry.
• Directs the configuration and upgrade of Quickbooks and the related tech stack to produce reliable, auditable, real-time financial data.
• Redesigns processes to reduce manual compilation while strengthening the control environment.
• Provides financial analysis and reporting to Sales (Healthspan), Operations (Remedy) and Marketing to support profitability and margin protection.
• Prepares entity financial information required for consolidated and management reporting.
• Leads, coaches, and develops the F&A team, including its lead and supervisory layer.
• Sets performance expectations, conducts performance evaluations, and manages the productivity of the F&A team.
• Builds bench strength within the F&A team through training, cross-skilling, and succession planning.

We are on the hunt for 2 (two) highly strategic, commercially minded Finance Controllers to take the financial reins of our Philippine operating company -either for Remedy Skintech Inc. or Healthspan Global Inc We are moving away from traditional, siloed accounting. We need a finance leader who acts as a strategic co-pilot to our operational leaders, operating with a CFO mindset on day one.

In this role, reporting the numbers is just the baseline. Your true value will be in telling us why the numbers are what they are. You will partner extensively with operations, marketing, and cross-functional teams to diagnose performance, optimize unit economics, and drive our business strategy forward.

Furthermore, you must be a champion for modern finance. We need someone who is entirely comfortable with technology, Artificial Intelligence, and workflow automation. You will be tasked with building and implementing intelligent systems to automate routine accounting tasks. By doing so, you will elevate your team’s capacity to focus on high-leverage Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) that directly influences company growth.
