Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager to lead the accounting team and ensure accurate financial reporting under US GAAP for clients.

You will review work, provide coaching, prepare financial statements, and deliver metrics and dashboards for client reporting. CA or CPA required with 6+ years in public accounting or controller roles; experience with QuickBooks Online or Intacct preferred. This is a full-time role based in the Philippines with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA certification required.
• 6+ years in public accounting or controller roles.
• Experience in financial statement preparation and complex accounting reviews.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Intacct, or similar accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP for small to mid-size businesses.
• Prior supervisory, training, and business management experience preferred.
• Proficient with accounting tools, software, and technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Review associates' work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Provide feedback and training to improve team effectiveness.
• Ensure all project files, documents, and sign-offs are complete.
• Communicate analysis findings and insights on reported numbers.
• Recommend best practices for classification and supporting documentation.
• Monitor transactional documentation sufficiency and adherence to standards.
• Handle complex projects independently with minimal guidance.
• Prepare metrics, KPIs, and dashboards for client reporting.
• Support Healthcare sector.
