Job summary

Maya in the Philippines seeks a Regional Business Head to drive sales growth, manage partners, and oversee business performance across the territory. You will lead Territory Solutions Leads, develop regional sales strategies, expand merchant acquisition, and ensure regulatory compliance while building a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate brings strategic leadership, 5+ years in sales/business development in fintech/payments, and a proven record of achieving targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales, Client Management, Business Development, or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of the payments, e-wallet, lending, and fintech ecosystem.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Experience managing teams and leading high-performing sales organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
• Grow merchant acquisition, account activations, and transaction volumes across the assigned territory.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence and drive sustainable growth.
• Propose innovative product and business solutions that address market needs and customer demands.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key partners, aggregators, agents, and merchants.
• Ensure compliance, productivity, and performance standards are consistently met across partner networks.
• Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, and other stakeholders to support business objectives.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Territory Solutions Leads to maximize performance.
