Job summary

ACCIONA Construction is seeking an experienced Building General Superintendent for the Malolos Clark Railway project (P02) in the Philippines. The role involves day-to-day organisation, coordination and supervision of all building and architectural works on site, ensuring safety, quality and alignment with drawings and schedules.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of proven building construction experience, preferably on medium to large-scale, technically complex projects.
• Experience as Building General Foreman, General Foreman, Building Foreman or equivalent senior site supervision role.
• Ability to read and understand architectural, structural and MEP drawings, construction details and technical documentation.
• Railway stations, metro stations, airports, terminals, hospitals, shopping centres, hotels or other large complex buildings experience is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Organize, coordinate and supervise the daily execution of all building works within the station.
• Coordinate foremen, supervisors, direct labour, subcontractors and trades involved in construction.
• Supervise masonry, plastering, screeding, flooring, tiling, ceilings, partitions, painting, doors, façades, roofing, waterproofing and architectural finishes.
• Coordinate building activities with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC and other building services (MEP).
• Ensure proper coordination between civil, structural, architectural and MEP activities and resolve interfaces before they affect production.
• Organize work fronts according to the construction programme and priorities.
• Ensure adequate manpower, materials, equipment, tools and temporary resources.
• Coordinate subcontractors to avoid conflicts, rework and delays.
• Monitor daily progress, quality and productivity; manage snagging/punch-list and final completion.
