We’re hiring a Licensed Civil Engineer with strong experience in project site execution and software-based estimating for bridges, asphalt works, and buildings with two or more storeys.
This role combines practical construction knowledge with accurate estimating, quantity surveying, and project cost control.
Prepare software-based quantity take-offs, cost estimates, project budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
Assess construction methods, work sequencing, and material, labor, and equipment requirements when preparing estimates.
Review plans and specifications to identify quantity gaps, scope discrepancies, and potential cost risks.
Conduct site inspections to verify measurements, conditions, and actual project accomplishments.
Coordinate with Project Engineers and site teams on construction requirements and scope changes.
Prepare bidding documents, unit cost analyses, and cost schedules.
Monitor quantities, material usage, and project costs against approved budgets; report variances and overruns.
Validate contractor progress billings and prepare or assess variation orders.
Coordinate with procurement and accounting teams on pricing, billing, and cost tracking.
Maintain accurate estimates, BOQs, billing records, and project cost documentation.
Licensed Civil Engineer.
At least 5 years of relevant construction experience, including substantial hands‑on site execution, quantity surveying, and cost estimation.
Extensive project experience in bridges, asphalt works, and buildings with two or more storeys.
Proficient in estimation and quantity take‑off software, such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or equivalent tools, with actual project application.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, plans, specifications, materials, and labor and equipment costing.
Experienced in BOQ preparation, bidding documentation, contractor billing validation, and variation orders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. AutoCAD proficiency is an advantage.
Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to coordinate across teams, work independently, and manage multiple project deadlines.
