Job summary

PHirst Park Homes by Century Properties Group, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to develop cost estimates and take-offs for CSA works and manage budgets across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

You will lead tendering, cost proposals, and contract administration, ensuring cost plans align with market rates and project specifications. The role requires at least three years of relevant experience, a civil/architecture background, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Licensed Civil Engineer or Licensed Architect.
• At least three years of Quantity Surveying, cost estimation, cost control, and budget management.
• Experience in CSA works for residential, commercial, industrial or mixed-use projects.
• Experience in tendering, contract administration, and cost monitoring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs for CSA works.

Job description

• Develop detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs for Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) works based on approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), tender documents, and cost proposals for project bidding and procurement activities.
• Oversee the tendering process, including bid evaluation, cost comparison, and recommendation of contractors and suppliers.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with contract terms, project specifications, and commercial requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate, assess, and manage variation orders and change requests, ensuring proper documentation, cost justification, and approval processes are followed.
• Conduct cost analysis and value engineering studies to identify opportunities for cost optimization while maintaining project quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Monitor project costs, track budget utilization, and prepare regular cost reports to support project management and decision-making.
• Ensure all cost estimates, budgets, and project expenditures are aligned with current market rates and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer or Licensed Architect.
• At least three (3) years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, cost estimation, cost control, and budget management within the construction industry.

• Experience in tendering, contract administration, and project cost monitoring is an advantage.
