Job summary

HR Primo Management Services seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Estimator (Civil) with hands-on site execution and software-based estimating expertise for civil and building projects in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte, Philippines.

The ideal candidate will prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, project estimates, and cost schedules; use PlanSwift or Bluebeam for take-offs; review plans; conduct site inspections; and coordinate billing with Project Engineers and Procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Licensed Civil Engineer status is required.
• At least 5 years of relevant construction experience involving both site execution and estimating / quantity surveying.
• Proficient in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, progress billing, and project cost monitoring.
• Experience with variation orders, contractor billing, bidding documents, or cost reports is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, project budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Use PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar estimating software for actual project take-offs and costing.
• Review plans, specifications, and scope requirements for quantities, cost risks, and discrepancies.
• Conduct site inspections to validate measurements, accomplishments, and actual project conditions.
• Prepare unit cost analyses, bidding documents, and cost schedules.
• Monitor project quantities, material usage, and costs against approved budgets.
• Review progress billings and prepare or evaluate variation and change orders.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, contractors, Procurement, and Accounting on quantities, pricing, and billing.
• Maintain accurate BOQs, estimates, billing records, and project cost reports.

The role will handle quantity take-offs, BOQs, project estimates, billing validation, variation orders, and cost monitoring for civil and building projects.

Candidates with experience in bridge works, asphalt or road construction, and buildings with two or more storeys will be highly prioritized.

• Experience in bridges, asphalt or road works, and 2-storey-and-above building projects is highly preferred.

• Experience with variation orders, contractor billing, bidding documents, or cost reports is an advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.

• Willing to work onsite in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte.
