The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for the overall measurement, quantification, and cost evaluation dedicated specifically to the construction and completion of the Multi-Storey 4-Storey Mixed Used Building Project. The Quantity Surveyor specializes in comprehensive material take-offs, precision quantity measurement, and serving as the primary technical point of contract for quantity-related evaluations with the client and management.
Perform comprehensive and detailed material take-offs and precision quantity measurements from architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing drawings specifically tailored for the 4-storey mixed-used building to establish accurate baseline quantities for all structural, architectural, and fit-out scopes.
Review, manage, and propose comprehensive financial and technical documentation, including detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
Maintain close collaboration with the Cost Control Engineer and Procurement Department.
Submit a proposal for the overall quantity and material take-off for the Mixed Used Building.
Assistance in projects requiring immediate billing concerns and quantity take-offs.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
A license is not mandatory, but holding a valid engineering license is considered an advantage.
At least 2 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in quantity surveying, estimating, or project controls, specifically focusing on multi-storey or vertical building developments.
Proficient in reading, interpreting, and implementing construction drawings, and specifications.
Excellent technical writing, organizational, and reporting skills.
Solid knowledge of construction materials, methodologies, pricing, and market rates.
Proficiency in digital take-off software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam Revu), cost control databases or advanced spreadsheet and basic CAD operations is a plus.
