Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a highly organized Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our commercial and bidding operations. This role is critical during bidding season (1–2 months per year) and equally important throughout the rest of the year for cost control, procurement support, and project commercial management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience in quantity surveying, estimating, or tender preparation.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and cost estimation tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bid submissions with quantity take-offs, cost estimates, BoQs, and tender documents.
• Maintain project costs by managing the internal cost database and monitoring consumption.
• Evaluate supplier quotes, assist in purchase orders, and review contracts for risks.
• Prepare post‑project cost reports and lessons learned for future bids.

Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our commercial and bidding operations. This role is critical during bidding season (1–2 months per year) and equally important throughout the rest of the year for cost control, procurement support, and project commercial management. If you excel in cost estimating, tender preparation, quantity take‑offs, and contract administration, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and compliant bid submissions by performing quantity take‑offs, developing cost estimates and BoQs, analyzing tender requirements, coordinating supplier and subcontractor pricing, and ensuring timely completion of all bidding documents.

• Maintain accurate project and company costs by managing the internal cost database, monitoring consumption and productivity, validating billings, preparing variation orders and claims, and supporting project teams with quantity‑based commercial decisions.

• Evaluate and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations, assist in preparing purchase orders and work packages, and review contracts to identify commercial risks.

• Prepare post‑project cost and productivity reports, extract lessons learned, and recommend improvements for future bids and operations.
