Private Advertiser is seeking a Quantity Surveyor-type professional to manage, monitor, verify, and document project quantities, costs, and related records for construction activities. You will support implementation and completion per DPWH standards and approved plans.
Responsibilities include take-offs, site measurements, record maintenance, billing support, and coordination with project engineers and QA/QC teams to ensure accurate, timely documentation.
You shall be responsible for managing, monitoring, verifying, and documenting project quantities, measurements, cost-related data, and quantity-based project records to support the proper implementation, monitoring, and completion of the Company's construction activities in accordance with project specifications, approved plans, contract requirements, and applicable DPWH standards.
Prepare and conduct quantity take-offs based on approved drawings, plans, specifications, BOQ, and other relevant project documents for construction activities.
Measure and verify actual quantities of completed works at the project site in coordination with the Construction, Engineering, QA/QC, and Survey teams.
Prepare, update, and maintain quantity records, including quantity take-off sheets, measurement sheets, quantity summaries, and other project-related documentation.
Monitor actual quantities and work accomplishments against the approved Bill of Quantities (BOQ), construction plans, schedules, and project targets, and report significant variances to the Project Management Team.
Assist in the preparation and verification of progress billings, including accomplishment quantities, supporting measurement documents, and other required attachments for submission and evaluation.
Coordinate with the Project Engineer, Site Engineers, Survey Team, QA/QC personnel, and other concerned personnel to verify measurements, completed works, materials incorporated, and other quantity-related matters.
Review and validate quantity computations submitted by site personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, or other concerned parties and identify discrepancies, errors, or unsupported quantities for appropriate correction.
Assist in monitoring changes in quantities and scope of work, including additional, omitted, or revised works, and provide the necessary quantity computations and supporting documentation for variation orders, change orders, and other contract-related requirements.
Assist in the preparation of quantity and cost-related reports required by the Company, Project Management Team, DPWH, DASSAN Consultants, and other authorized project representatives.
Maintain organized and accurate records of approved drawings, BOQs, quantity computations, measurement sheets, billing documents, variation order records, quantity reports, and other relevant project documentation.
Perform duties and responsibilities with professionalism, accuracy, diligence, and due care.
Ensure all quantity measurements, computations, documentation, billing support, and other assigned project activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and plans, project specifications, contract requirements, applicable laws and regulations, DPWH standards and requirements, and Company policies and procedures.
