Job summary

Graceline Products, Inc. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage quantity take-offs, cost estimation, BOM preparation, and project cost monitoring. The role requires civil/quantity surveying background and proficiency in Excel and estimating tools.

The successful candidate will verify material quantities, coordinate with Plant and Site Engineer, and ensure BOM accuracy for production scheduling and budgeting. Experience in construction estimating is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience in construction estimating, quantity surveying, or project billing preferred.
• Familiar with plans, BOQ, and material quantities.
• Proficient in Excel and estimating tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs based on approved plans, drawings, and specifications
• Prepare estimates for materials, labor, and other project requirements
• Check and verify quantities before implementation or material ordering
• Prepare the BOM based on approved plans, drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Verify the quantity and specs of all materials for production
• Submit BOM to Plant/Production for scheduling and processing
• Coordinate with Sales Designer, Plant, PIC, and Site Engineer on material needs and schedules
• Update BOM for revisions or variation orders
• Monitor project costs against the approved budget

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for quantity take-off, cost estimation, preparation of billings and Bill of Materials, monitoring of project costs, and verification of actual site accomplishments to ensure that projects are properly controlled and completed within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs based on approved plans, drawings, and specifications
• Prepare estimates for materials, labor, and other project requirements
• Check and verify quantities before implementation or material ordering
• Prepare the Bill of Materials based on approved plans, drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Verify the quantity and specifications of all materials required for production
• Submit the completed BOM to the Plant/Production Department for production scheduling and processing
• Coordinate with the Sales Designer, Plant, PIC, and Site Engineer regarding material requirements and production schedules
• Update the BOM whenever there are approved revisions, changes, or variation orders
• Monitor project costs against the approved budget

About you

• Graduate of Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related course
• Experience in construction estimating, quantity surveying, or project billing is preferred
• Knowledgeable in construction plans, specifications, BOQ, and material quantities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating/quantity surveying tools
• Strong mathematical, analytical, organizational, and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines
• Can work independently and handle deadline pressure.
• Preferably residing in Quezon City areas is an advantage.
