Quickstart Inc. seeks an experienced Civil Engineer with 8–10 years in procurement, bids, and quantity surveying for construction materials. You will work with the engineering team on take-offs, verify drawings, and prepare reports for stakeholders.

Willingness to visit sites (Pampanga) and prior Real Estate/construction experience are required. The role collaborates with pricing and survey teams to ensure accurate billing and compliance with contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and licensed professional is required.
• At least 8–10 years of procurement, bids, and quantity surveying experience.
• Experience from real estate or construction firms is preferred.
• Must demonstrate leadership and strong command with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and prepare detailed records of additional works and claims.
• Coordinate with engineering to prepare quantity take-offs including reinforcement steel.
• Review as-built drawings, verify variances, and prepare consolidated reports.
• Assist pricing by preparing take-offs from pricing phase drawings and review schedules.
• Collaborate with survey to calculate earthwork quantities and prepare invoices.
• Verify subcontractor invoices for accuracy and contractual alignment.

Requirements of the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• Licensed Civil Engineer
• With 8-10 years’ experience in procurement and bids, and quantity survey of construction materials
• From Real Estate or construction company
• Proven and possess God leadership and command
• Willing to conduct ocular visits to site (Pampanga)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyzing, documenting, and preparing detailed records of additional works and claims for accurate processing, ensuring proper coordination and approval with relevant stakeholders.
• Work closely with the engineering team to prepare detailed material quantity take offs, including reinforcement steel, and track drawing changes to maintain up-to date project documentation.
• Review and verify all quantity schedules against updated "as-built" drawings, obtaining consultant approvals for variances and preparing consolidated reports for stakeholders.
• Assist the pricing team by preparing quantity take-offs from project pricing phase drawings and reviewing consultant-prepared quantity schedules, providing feedback on discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the survey department to calculate earthwork quantities for accurate billing and prepare detailed reports for client and subcontractor invoices related to earthworks.
• Verify subcontractor invoices and quantities for accuracy and alignment with project records, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
