Job summary

Actuate Builders, Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to oversee Fit-Out and MEPFS QA/QC activities on site. You will supervise inspections, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with project specifications and codes.

The role requires hands-on testing, documentation preparation, and strong analytical reporting to deliver quality outcomes across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed Engineer or Architect preferred; QA/QC certification advantageous.
• 2–4 years QA/QC experience in Fit-Out and MEPFS projects.
• Experience with ITPs, Method Statements, NCR workflows, and QA/QC documentation.
• Hands-on testing & commissioning, material inspection, and approval processes.
• Knowledge of Philippine Codes and Standards: PEC, NBCP, Plumbing Code, Fire Code, ACI, ASTM, NFPA.
• Ability to interpret Architectural, Structural, and MEPFS drawings and BOQs.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and client representatives.

Responsibilities

• QA/QC inspection of Fit-Out and MEPFS works.
• Material receiving inspection and supplier quality validation.
• Supervise testing & commissioning for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and auxiliary systems.
• Evaluate MS and Methodology of Works for approvals.
• Prepare and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Issue, track, and close NCRs.
• Validate billing and verify quantity accomplishment.
• Prepare QA/QC documentation: MIRs, IRs, test reports, checklists, QA/QC logs.

Analytical & Reporting Skills

• Strong analytical assessment for material acceptance or rejection.
• Ability to identify deviations and defects immediately.
• Proficiency in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports.
• Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and digital QA/QC systems.
