CHINA CONSTRUCTION FRONT GEN. DEVT. CORP. invites a QA/QC inspector for MEPFS to join our Laguna-based project team. You will conduct inspections and testing during installation and pre-handover, ensuring conformity with codes and project specs.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with 1–5 years in QA/QC in construction, strong MEPFS knowledge, and hands-on testing with meters, gauges, and diagnostic tools.
Conduct comprehensive inspections and testing of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems during installation and pre-handover phases
Prepare detailed inspection reports, checklists, and documentation in accordance with project specifications and relevant standards
Verify compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project technical specifications for all MEPFS work
Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions
Perform quality control testing on systems including pressure tests, continuity tests, functionality tests, and safety equipment performance
Monitor installation progress to ensure work quality meets established standards before final acceptance
Maintain detailed records of all testing, inspections, and non-conformance items for project documentation
Provide technical recommendations for improvement in construction methods and quality processes
Liaise with project management and clients regarding quality status and resolution of identified issues
Ensure all MEPFS systems are operational and safe before project handover to clients
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
Minimum 1-5 years of experience in QAQC or quality control within the construction industry, specifically with MEPFS systems
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical installations, plumbing systems, and fire safety equipment
Familiarity with Philippine Building Code , National Electrical Code, and relevant safety standards
Experience in conducting inspections, testing procedures, and preparing quality control documentation
Proficiency in using inspection and testing equipment such as multimeters, pressure gauges, and diagnostic tools
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformances
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with construction teams and stakeholders
Problem-solving abilities and initiative in recommending quality improvements
