Job Summary

As the Senior QA/QC Inspector, you will transition from architecting our Quality Management System (QMS) to leading its full-scale execution. You are the final line of defense for quality, ensuring every phase of construction—from structural work to high-end finishes—meets the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
  • Lead the inspection of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works. Verify material deliveries and ensure no work is "covered up" before approval.
  • Enforce strict adherence to technical specifications, local building codes, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols.
  • Identify defects, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and ensure corrective actions are fully resolved.
  • Maintain a rigorous filing system including site memos, photographic evidence, and quantity tracking. Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
  • Supervise and mentor junior inspectors while acting as the primary quality liaison between the client, contractors, and consultants.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with at least five (5) years of working experience for a general contractor handling high-end interior fit out construction projects.
  • Proven experience on large-scale construction projects and strong knowledge of construction standards and codes (e.g. NSCP, NBC, PSME Code, NEC, NPC, ASTM, BS, ACI, AISC, ASME, other local building codes and ordinances if applicable).
  • Must be knowledgeable about ISO and experience implementing quality management systems on construction sites.
  • Relevant certifications are an advantage.
  • Excellent understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and site practices.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contracts.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to guide and supervise site inspection teams.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with multiple stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in inspection reporting, quality documentation, and record management.
  • Knowledge of HSE requirements as they relate to construction quality activities.
  • Compliance with approved drawings and specifications, reduction in rework and quality-related delays, timely issuance and closure of NCRs, and accuracy and completeness of inspection and quality records; effective supervision and mentoring of staff members to achieve key performance indicators.
  • This role is site-based in active construction environments and may require extended working hours, weekend work, or mobility between project areas.
