Job summary

SPCASTRO, INC. is seeking a detail-oriented MEPFS Inspectorate/Coordinator to ensure QA/QC compliance across MEPFS works on site. The role requires reviewing requests, witnessing testing, and maintaining thorough QA/QC records throughout project execution.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with willingness to work on project sites within or outside Metro Manila.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC, site inspection, or construction supervision.
• Knowledge of construction standards, specifications, and testing requirements.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes such as ITPs, WIRs, MIRs, NCRs.

• Review inspection requests, submittals, RFAs, and RFIs for compliance and timely resolution.
• Inspect MEPFS materials, equipment, installations, and witness testing and commissioning.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, NCR logs, punch lists, and quality records.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure quality compliance throughout project execution.
• Assist in close-out activities, including snagging, verification of as-built drawings and warranties.

Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-focused MEPFS Inspectorate/Coordinator to ensure compliance of MEPFS works with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and quality standards. The successful candidate will conduct site inspections, monitor QA/QC documentation, oversee testing and commissioning, coordinate with project stakeholders, track non-conformances, and support project close-out and handover activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct site inspections to ensure MEPFS works comply with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and quality standards.
• Review and monitor inspection requests, material submittals, RFAs, and RFIs to ensure compliance and timely resolution.
• Inspect MEPFS materials, equipment, installations, and witness required testing and commissioning activities.
• Identify, document, and monitor non-conformances, ensuring timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, test records, NCR logs, punch lists, and quality records.
• Support progress billing validation, cost proposal reviews, design reviews, and construction progress monitoring.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure quality compliance throughout project execution.
• Assist in project close-out activities, including snagging, testing and commissioning, defect rectification, and verification of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and other handover documents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience in QA/QC, site inspection, or construction supervision.
• Knowledge of construction standards, specifications, and testing requirements.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes such as ITPs, WIRs, MIRs, NCRs.
• Willing to be assigned to project sites within or outside Metro Manila.
