Job summary

GEMECO, a Quezon City-based packaging company manufacturing tin cans for infant dietetics and canned goods, is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor.

You'll develop and implement QC procedures, monitor standards, analyze data, and supervise QC staff to ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP, and GMP guidelines, while maintaining thorough documentation and reports.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (any field) or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and QC tools.
• Basic knowledge of ISO, HACCP and GMP.
• Proactive, results-oriented.
• Highly analytical and organized.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure product quality.
• Monitor quality standards and record defects, reliability, and complaints.

GEMECO is a packaging company engaged in the manufacture of tin cans for infant dietetics, beverages, meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, and other food products.

GEMECO’s customers include: Angel Milk, Alaska Milk, 555 Sardines, Argentina Corned Beef, Century Tuna, Ligo Sardines, Purefoods Hormel - San Miguel, Swift, Virginia Foods, and Youngstown

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control procedures, methods, and techniques to ensure the quality of products and services.
• Monitor and review quality standards and data by recording quality defects, product reliability, and customer complaints.
• Analyses data, provide insights and recommendations, and evaluate corrective measures or solutions to improve performance or compliance and avoid problems from occurring again.
• Supervise and train quality control staff, ensuring adherence to documented procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain quality control documentation and reports.

Requirements:

• Graduate of any Engineering field or its equivalent
• With at least 3 years of work experience in supervisory function
• Knowledgeable in various quality control procedures and QC tools
• With at least basic knowledge in ISO, HACCP and GMP
• Proactive and results-oriented
• Highly analytical and organized
