We are looking for a Procurement Supervisor to oversee procurement operations, supplier management, contract negotiations, and cost-saving initiatives. The role is responsible for ensuring the organization obtains quality goods and services at the best value while maintaining compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Review commercial proposals and recommend the most cost-effective solutions aligned with organizational standards and requirements.
Evaluate technical specifications and project requirements submitted by business units.
Recommend and negotiate favorable commercial terms that maximize value for the organization.
Support budgeting initiatives through effective sourcing and procurement strategies.
Conduct supplier assessments and evaluations for accreditation and engagement.
Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and service agreements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and business partners.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Review negotiated commercial terms and supplier recommendations.
Drive procurement savings initiatives and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
Conduct competitive sourcing activities and supplier benchmarking.
Ensure procurement contributes to overall organizational savings targets.
Initiate and implement procurement process improvement projects.
Review and maintain supply catalogs and procurement documentation.
Validate purchase orders, canvass sheets, bid sheets, PRFs, and PRSs prior to approval.
Prepare and analyze procurement reports and performance metrics.
Research market trends, new products, and potential suppliers.
Support audit, compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
Monitor team performance and achievement of objectives.
Conduct performance discussions, coaching, and development activities for direct reports.
Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or any related course.
Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent relevant work experience.
Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, or supply chain operations.
Experience in vendor negotiations and contract management is an advantage.
