Job summary

TroyCor Lighting Corporation seeks a procurement professional responsible for sourcing and supplier development, purchasing and negotiation, supplier performance management, and cross-functional coordination. You will identify and qualify suppliers for raw materials, components, and packaging, and lead market research to uncover competitive sources across the Philippines.

You will visit suppliers to validate capabilities, negotiate terms, monitor performance, and collaborate with Quality

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers for raw materials, components, packaging materials, and other manufacturing requirements
• Conduct market research and supplier scouting to identify alternative and competitive sources of supply
• Build and maintain a strong and extensive network of suppliers throughout the Philippines
• Regularly visit potential and existing suppliers to validate their manufacturing capability, capacity, quality standards, and reliability
• Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and conduct price, cost, quality, and delivery comparisons
• Negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, lead times, minimum order quantities, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms
• Monitor supplier performance, particularly on quality, price, delivery, responsiveness, and service
• Coordinate with Quality Control, Production, Warehouse, Planning, and other concerned departments regarding material and supplier concerns
• Work closely with Production Planning and other departments to understand material requirements and upcoming production demands
• Supervise and guide assigned purchasing or sourcing staff, when applicable
