Private Advertiser is seeking a Procurement Supervisor in the Philippines to lead the procurement team, develop sourcing strategies, and ensure compliant purchasing processes. You will oversee vendor negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance while coordinating with internal departments to align procurement with company goals.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, and 1–2 years of supervisory experience in procurement or supply chain.
The Procurement Supervisor oversees the procurement team and manages the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services needed for company operations. The role ensures effective supplier management, cost efficiency, timely procurement, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Supervise and lead the procurement team, including training, support, and performance monitoring.
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Manage sourcing activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, pricing, and service.
Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to support procurement decisions.
Coordinate with internal departments to identify procurement requirements and specifications.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable requirements.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, suppliers, and inventory levels.
Prepare procurement reports and present purchasing activities and cost-saving initiatives to management.
Stay updated on procurement and supply chain trends and best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 1–2 years of supervisory experience.
Proficient in procurement and supply chain management systems, particularly SAP.
Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of market research, sourcing strategies, and procurement processes.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple procurement activities and deadlines.
