Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–4 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement or supplier management, preferably in a healthcare or hospital environment.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure favourable terms with suppliers.
• Proficiency in procurement systems, ERP software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Knowledge of hospital procurement standards, medical supply chains and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers and vendors to ensure quality products and competitive pricing.
• Issuing purchase orders and managing the procurement process from requisition through delivery and invoice reconciliation.
• Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value and service levels.
• Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with department heads to forecast procurement needs.
• Maintaining accurate records of all purchase transactions, pricing agreements and supplier information.
• Ensuring compliance with hospital procurement policies, regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
