Job summary

BEMPU Health Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Government & Institutional Business Development Manager to lead sales into India's public health systems. You will own public procurement, build the government channel from the ground up, and travel nationally.

You will leverage experience with tenders, GeM, and rate contracts to secure engagements with central and state programs, hospitals, and distributors. Based in Bangalore, you will report to the founder and work with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years selling medical devices, diagnostics or healthcare products into government/institutional health systems.
• Experience winning public tenders with understanding of bid documentation, technical specs and evaluation processes.
• Knowledge of GeM portal and rate contracts/empanelment mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Own sales into public health systems including national and state level channels.
• Drive government procurement through central and state channels and tenders.
• Manage tender lifecycle from opportunity identification to purchase order.
• Build and maintain empanelments, rate contracts and GeM listings.
• Develop relationships with distributors and channel partners for government procurement.
• Engage medical officials and programme staff to create demand ahead of tenders.
• Maintain CRM pipeline with accurate tender data and timelines.
• Represent BEMPU at government health conferences and reviews.
