About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a Property Engineer (Registered Electrical) to join our team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position that plays a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our electrical systems and infrastructure. As a registered electrical engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and compliance across our properties, working closely with management and technical teams to deliver excellence in facility management and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems within properties to ensure they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical installations to identify potential hazards and areas requiring maintenance or upgrading
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive electrical systems documentation, including schematics, maintenance logs, and compliance records
• Manage electrical maintenance contracts and coordinate with external contractors and vendors to ensure quality service delivery
• Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
• Respond to electrical emergencies and troubleshoot system failures to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmed for all electrical systems and equipment
• Train and supervise maintenance staff on proper electrical safety procedures and best practices
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for electrical projects and system upgrades
• Liaise with building occupants and management to address electrical concerns and implement solutions

What we’re looking for

• Valid Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) license and current registration with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)
• Minimum of 0-1 year experience in electrical engineering, with substantial experience in property or facility management
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting systems, and fire safety systems
• Strong understanding of Philippine electrical codes, building standards, and safety regulations
• Proficiency in electrical design software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with staff, contractors, and management
• Physical capability to conduct site inspections and work in various property environments
• Preferred experience in commercial or mixed-use property management and knowledge of energy efficiency solutions
