Job summary

Twin Cardinal Realty Corporation is seeking a skilled Property Engineer to join our team at Ibis Styles - Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga. You will maintain and optimize mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural systems across our commercial properties.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in property engineering, strong technical reading skills, knowledge of codes and CMMS, and the ability to lead maintenance planning with contractors and tenants. A professional license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Building Technology or related field.
• 7–10 years of property engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and structural integrity.
• Ability to read technical drawings and building specifications.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulatory requirements in the Philippines.
• Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance planning and execution.
• Proficiency with building management systems and CMMS.
• Good problem-solving, communication and multitasking abilities.
• Professional engineering license or registration preferred; related certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

About the role

Twin Cardinal Realty Corporation is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Property Engineer to join our dynamic team at Ibis Styles - Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining, managing and optimizing the technical operations and physical infrastructure of our commercial properties. As Property Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all building systems operate efficiently, safely and in compliance with relevant regulations, whilst supporting the overall performance and value of our real estate portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural components
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with building infrastructure, facilities and equipment
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive maintenance schedules and records for all property systems and assets
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs, upgrades and maintenance work
• Ensure all properties comply with health, safety and building code requirements
• Manage utility consumption and implement energy efficiency initiatives to reduce operational costs
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and system failures
• Monitor and maintain building security systems, fire safety equipment and emergency protocols
• Prepare detailed reports on property conditions, maintenance activities and capital improvement recommendations
• Support property management teams with technical guidance on lease requirements and tenant-related maintenance issues

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in property engineering
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and structural integrity
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and building specifications
• Solid understanding of building codes, safety regulations and compliance requirements in the Philippines
• Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance planning and execution
• Competency in using building management systems and maintenance management software
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with contractors, tenants and internal teams
• Valid professional engineering license or registration is preferred
• Certifications in building systems, energy management or fire safety are advantageous
